JOC : Iraqis triumphed over most notorious terrorist organization in history

    The deputy commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Qais Al-Muhammadawi, congratulated on the occasion of the 6th anniversary of the resounding victory over terrorism, pointing out that the Iraqis recorded the largest victory over the most notorious terrorist organization in history.

    "Iraqis are celebrating these days the six-year anniversary of the resounding victory of their heroic security forces over terrorism, as Iraqis have recorded the greatest victory over the most notorious terrorist organization in history," Al-Muhammadawi said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

    He added that "the Iraqis, with the heroes of Defense, the interior, the popular and Tribal Mobilization, the Peshmerga, the patient people, have confirmed that they fought in defense of their land, national soil and their shrines, just as they fought in defense of the humanitarian fronts and human dignity in the whole world."

    He continued "terrorism has chosen Iraq as an arena for its conspiracy on its soil, land and sky, and Iraqis have chosen the tenth of December as a date with victory, heroism, magnanimity, dignity and pride of souls and to face the challenge in defense of humanity and the values of justice, freedom and liberation."
