    The German Heart Foundation stated that “cold weather poses a danger to heart patients in particular, as it leads to narrowing of the blood vessels, and then high blood pressure, which in turn raises the risk of a heart attack or stroke.”

    The Foundation added, “Heart patients (coronary heart disease, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, deep vein thrombosis, angina, and high blood pressure) should not put additional strain on the heart, for example, by exerting strenuous physical effort, and a doctor should also be consulted regarding Harmonize the medication dose.

    It is also important to take the body's signals seriously, as medical attention should be sought immediately after noticing some symptoms, such as shortness of breath and feeling pain, pressure, and burning in the chest.
