The Minister of Environment, Nizar Amidi, confirmed today, Friday, that the Iraqi delegation began its negotiations at the Dubai conference on solutions to the risks of climate change.
The correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA), quoting Environment Minister Nizar Amedi, said, “The government delegation at the Dubai Climate Conference began its negotiating tasks with global delegations and the United Nations to develop solutions to the risks of climate change.”.
The minister added, "The Iraqi pavilion at the climate conference sponsors various activities to negotiate and raise awareness of Iraq's climate and drought problems."
