Smuggling more than 100 Visa and MasterCard Foiled at Zarbatiya port

Border Ports Authority announced on Sunday, the seizure of 104 Visa and MasterCard in violation of Central Bank instructions at the Zarbatiya border crossing.
 
A statement by the authority, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that “according to the directives of Major General Omar Adnan Al-Waeli, to capture attempts to smuggle currency by exploiting prepaid cards (Visa Card, Master Card) and taking out money in contravention of the instructions of the Central Bank of Iraq, Zarbatiya port Port Directorate was able to Al-Huddi announced the arrest of an Iraqi traveler in possession of (104) cards.”
 
The statement pointed out, "A proper arrest report was prepared, and the accused was referred to Zarbatiya port Customs Police Station to take appropriate legal measures."
