Ministry of Health MOH announced, on Sunday, the inclusion and recovery of more than 330 million dinars.
The Director General of the inspection department at the ministry Zaid Ali Abbas said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA ) that "The investigative committees of the inspection department at the Ministry of Health were able to include and recover the amount of ( 330,195,000 ) dinars through the investigation of a number of violations", indicating that "the said amounts were distributed between including the amount of ( 318,132,000 ) dinars for the existence of overstatement in the prices of the purchase of laboratory materials from the prevailing prices and the recovery of amounts estimated at( 12,630, 000) dinars".
The statement added that " our specialized staff in the complaints and Investigations Department at the Department's center was able to resolve (241) investigative and audit committees with a central perspective in the inspection department during the last nine months of this year 2023 for various administrative, engineering and financial matters", stressing that "receiving all citizens and affiliates of complainants and considering complaints or reports submitted by them, taking into account confidentiality during dealing with the complaints received”.
He pointed out that "complaints are received through many mechanisms, whether through interviews or e-mail, and complaints are received through the phone lines dedicated to receiving complaints, which are installed in all health institutions".
