The Military Industrialization Authority announced on Sunday signing an agreement with Britain to transfer and localize the manufacture of warships and marine services.
"The Chairman of the Military Industrialization Authority, Mustafa Ati Hassan, received at the Authority's headquarters a high-level British delegation headed by Baroness Emma Nicholson, a member of the House of Lords and Chairman of the Iraqi-British Business Council, as the delegation included the Chairman of AMC Company for the manufacture of warships and military services and the Advisor to the British Maritime Authority and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Iraqi-British Business Council," included a statement by the Authority - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
The statement explained that "during the delegation's visit, a memorandum of support was signed to transfer and localize the manufacture of warships and marine services within Iraq," noting "the Authority's efforts to expand the horizons of joint cooperation between it and major international companies in the implementation of the directives of the Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces."
