Al-Sudani Meets King Abdullah II at the Cairo Summit

Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani met today, Saturday, with King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in Cairo, Egypt. This gathering took place on the sidelines of the Cairo Summit for Peace and aimed to address the evolving situation in the occupied Palestinian territories.

During the meeting, the two leaders engaged in a dialogue concerning the ongoing Zionist aggression in the Gaza Strip, as well as the dire circumstances faced by the Palestinian population. This included the deliberate targeting of civilians and hospitals, along with the critical shortage of essential medical and humanitarian supplies.

The Prime Minister emphasized the critical need for coordinated action to halt the Zionist aggression, aligning with the Iraqi initiative's objectives. This initiative seeks to alleviate the impact of the aggression and offer support to the Palestinian people by establishing a dedicated fund for their assistance while safeguarding their legitimate rights.
