Al-Halbousi discusses with the Serbian Prime Minister enhancing bilateral cooperation

Speaker of  Parliament , Muhammad Al-Halbousi, discussed on Tuesday, with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, enhancing bilateral cooperation.

A statement from the Office of the Speaker of Parliament received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said: “The meeting dealt with bilateral relations between the two countries, the importance of strengthening cooperation in the fields of education, health and agriculture, and emphasizing parliamentary cooperation and bilateral coordination on issues of common interest."

According to the statement, the meeting also discussed the issue of Iraqi antiquities, and the importance of resolving the issue of returning antiquities that were seized by the Serbian authorities during an attempt to smuggle them through its territory."
