Rashid calls on the international community to assume its legal responsibilities to achieve justice for the Palestinian people

The Presidency of the Republic called on the international community to preserve “the rights of the Palestinians,” reiterating at the same time Iraq’s firm position on the Palestinian issue.

A presidential statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated, “We renew Iraq’s firm position on the Palestinian issue in a way that expresses full support for the Palestinian people in achieving their full legitimate rights, and we strongly condemn the brutal attacks carried out against them.”.

He continued, "We call on the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities to achieve justice and guarantee the legitimate rights of the people of Palestine."
