President Rashid : President Talabani worked for a free, stable, democratic Iraq

President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid confirmed that the Former President Jalal Talabani worked for a free, stable, democratic Iraq.

The President of the Republic said during the memorial ceremony marking the sixth anniversary of the passing of former President Jalal Talabani and his followers, the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the deceased was an integral part of Iraq and Kurdistan, and left a great historical legacy his departure left a great void and he worked for a free, stable, democratic Iraq."
