Saleh receives the President of the Federal Supreme Court

  Baghdad - INA The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, stressed on the importance of the independence of the judiciary and the rule of law in such a way as to ensure justice and ensure the legitimate rights of citizens to live free and decent, according to a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency This came during a meeting with the President of the Federal Supreme Court Medhat al-Mahmoud. At the beginning of the meeting, the general issues in the country were discussed from the political, security and judicial aspects, and how to strengthen cooperation and coordination among the state's higher institutions in order to serve the homeland and protect the constitution. For his part, Mahmoud expressed his thanks to the President, stressing the importance of supporting the President to work the judiciary as a symbol of the state and protector of the Constitution and the law in the country.
