Kirkuk police takes legal action in the incident of 262 citizens poisoning in Hawija

      The Kirkuk Police Command announced, on Thursday, taking legal measures in an incident of 262 citizens poisoning in Hawija district.
     
    The Command said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "on the order of the police commander of Kirkuk province, and after the news about cases of poisoning among a number of citizens in Hawija district, a task force headed by the deputy police commander and his assistant was formed to follow up the health status of the people, identify the negligent, and take legal action against them.
     
    "The tactical regiment was immediately sent, the force was mobilized in Hawija district, and with the efforts of health personnel and security forces, all the cases left the hospital after their health condition improved," it added, pointing out that "their number reached 262 citizens".
     
    "Three people have been arrested after obtaining the approval of the investigating judge in connection with the poisoning incident," it said.
