SJC President receives the Kuwaiti Ambassador to discuss cooperation between the two brotherly countries

The President of the Supreme Judicial Council-SJC, Faiq Zidan, stressed on Tuesday the importance of respecting and implementing the agreements and treaties concluded between Iraq and Kuwait. 
 
“The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, received the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Iraq, Tariq Al-Faraj, to discuss cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the judicial field,” stated SJC in a statement m received by The Iraqi News Agency-INA.
 
During the meeting, SJC President stressed, " "Iraq's respect for the State of Kuwait historically, present and future and the independence of the State of Kuwait through various historical stages, as well as the deep relationship between the two brotherly peoples and Iraq's appreciation of the honorable positions of the State of Kuwait in helping Iraq to get rid of the dictatorial regime."
 
He pointed out, "The importance of respecting and implementing the agreements and treaties concluded between Iraq and Kuwait in accordance with the constitutional and legal contexts and respecting the implementation of relevant Security Council resolutions."
