Al-Mandalawi stresses the importance of revitalizing bilateral relations between Iraq and the United Kingdom

The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, stressed today, Thursday, the importance of revitalizing bilateral relations between Iraq and the United Kingdom at various levels.

The media office of the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “Al-Mandalawi, of Iraqi origin, received Sarbaz Al-Barzanji, Mayor of Lambeth County in the British city of London, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of a number of representatives.”.

The First Deputy stressed, according to the statement, “the importance of revitalizing bilateral relations between Iraq and the United Kingdom at various levels, especially the political and economic levels, as well as the necessity of exchanging experiences in the service, educational, health, and other fields.”.

The statement added, "There was talk about Iraq's pivotal role in achieving regional and global stability, and restoring its position through its ability to play the role of mediator, ease tensions, and bring the parties to one table."
