The iconic poet Karim Al-Iraqi died at dawn on Friday.
Advisor to the Prime Minister for Cultural Affairs Aref al-Saaedi said on his official Facebook page, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "I mourn for you the poet Karim Al-Iraqi, who passed away at dawn this day in a hospital in Abu Dhabi."
