Al-Waeli , the Minister of Interior of Kurdistan discuss the file of the ports in the region

The head of the Border Crossings Authority, Omar Al-Waeli, discussed on Tuesday, with the Minister of Interior of Kurdistan, Riber Ahmed, the file of the border crossings in the region.

A statement of the authority, which was received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that, "Based on government directives regarding the need to communicate with the Kurdistan region of Iraq and follow up on common issues related to the border crossings file, a meeting was held in the region's Ministry of Interior, bringing together the region's interior minister, Riber Ahmed, and the head of the border crossings authority, Omar Al-Waeli."

The statement added that "the two sides discussed the file of border crossings in the region based on the principle of partnership, coordination and integration in accordance with the constitution, the laws in force and the government curriculum."
