The minister of migration and displaced, Ivan Faik Jabro, announced on Thursday the return of (117) displaced people from Erbil camps to their areas of residence.
Jabro said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "(117) IDPs returned from the Khazer camps in Erbil governorate to their original areas of residence in the city center of Mosul and Tal Afar district in Nineveh Governorate, and Tikrit district in Salah al-Din governorate, as part of the ministry's plan to end the file of displacement in the country and in line with the government program.
She stressed that" the government pays special attention to the file of the return of displaced people to their areas voluntarily, as well as providing all facilities for them and the requirements of decent living for returning families, "noting that"the teams of the ministry's field branches continue to register displaced families who wish to return voluntarily in coordination with local governments.
