UK Security Minister: Al-Sudani government succeeded in facing security challenges

The Minister of State for Security of the United Kingdom, Tom Tugendhat, praised the performance of the government of PM Muhammed S. Al-Sudani in facing security challenges, describing it as successful while stressing the aspiration to cooperate with the Iraqi Ministry of Interior in the file of combating the drug threat.

"The performance of Al-Sudani government was very good in facing security challenges in Iraq, especially the threat of terrorism, and we have cooperation with Iraq in facing this threat, as well as we want to cooperate in the war on drugs," said Tugendhat in his interview with the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

He highlighted, "Facing the drug threat is a very important matter, and we offered to help Iraq in providing expertise, advice and training. We look forward to working with the Iraqi Ministry of Interior and the Iraqi police in facing this challenge, as well as the threat of organized crime that threatens societies."
