Electricity Minister receives the head of IMN

    The head of the Iraqi Media Network, (IMN) Dr.  Nabil Jassem, agreed on Tuesday, with the Minister of Electricity, Ziyad Ali Fadel, to prepare a joint cooperation protocol.

    A statement by the Ministry of Electricity, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said: "The Minister of Electricity, Ziyad Ali Fadel, received the head of the Iraqi Media Network, Dr. Nabil Jassem, and they agreed to cooperate to prepare a joint cooperative protocol between electricity and the network to face challenges."

    The minister reviewed, according to the statement, "the role and importance of the network, its head, staff, formations, channels, broadcasts and news agency in supporting government efforts, especially highlighting the ministry's efforts in the media and in an investigation."

    Fadel pointed to the sobriety and reliability of the media message provided by the network, as it is an important source of news and image that supports the efforts of the state and the government, looks at many citizens' problems and undertakes to address it with the sectoral authorities."

    During the meeting, according to the statement, they discussed ways of joint cooperation between the network and the ministry and its formations to cover its achievements in the media and communicate them to the citizen in a more effective manner, and invest the visual, audio and written media of the network to urge citizens on the safe use of electricity, the need for rationalization, limiting abuses, paying collections, and preparing documentaries for the achievements in addition to training staff administratively and informationally.

    The statement pointed out, "These joint efforts come as a dedication to the Prime Minister's vision and his encouragement to renew work methods and move away from traditionalism by intensifying constructive cooperation between state institutions and presenting proposals that improve the service and performance reality of the institutions of the executive authority."
