The General Directorate of Intelligence and Security in Kirkuk announced the overthrow of the official responsible for armoring and booby-trapping ISIS vehicles.
A statement of the Directorate, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "within the series of specific duties carried out by the Kirkuk Intelligence and Security Directorate affiliated to the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security at the Ministry of Defense, with the aim of pursuing the remnants of terrorist gangs, and based on intelligence information and technical effort, the Directorate's detachments were able to overthrow One of the most dangerous leaders of ISIS terrorist gangs in Kirkuk Governorate.
He pointed out that "the terrorist was working as an official in charge of a workshop for armoring and booby-trapping wheels and manufacturing explosive devices," pointing out that "this operation took place in coordination with the Kirkuk Operations Command, a force from the Sulaymaniyah Counter-Terrorism Service, and the Kirkuk police chief's storming force."
