The draw resulted in Al-Naft Basketball Club to be into Group A of the West Asian and Arabian Gulf Basketball Super League.

The first group included, in addition to Al-Naft Club, the Iranian Gorgan, the Syrian Al-Ittihad, in addition to the Lebanese club Dynamo.
