UN General Assembly adopts resolution deploring violence against holy books

The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution on Tuesday, that deplores all acts of violence against holy books as a violation of international law.

"A unanimous decision was issued to promote dialogue between religions, and cultures and confront hate speech," the UN stated, in a statement, followed by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
