Zidan attends the presidencies meeting in the presence of the President of the Republic, PM, and the Speaker of Parliament

The head of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC), Faiq Zidan, confirmed the follow-up the follow-up the file to extradite Salwan Momika.
 
SJC stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), today, Monday, that "the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zidan, attended the presidencies meeting in the presence of the President of the Republic, Abdullatif Jamal Rashid, Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani, and the Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad Al-Halbousi."
 

The statement added that "the meeting discussed a number of issues, including judicial and governmental procedures in following up the file of extradite the accused of burning the Holy Qur'an, called " Salwan Momika", as well as procedures for ensuring the security of diplomatic missions and holding accountable the perpetrators of the crime of burning and vandalizing the headquarters of diplomatic missions.”
