SMC: A terrorist detachment eliminated in Kirkuk

    The Security Media Cell announced the killing of a terrorist detachment in Kirkuk Governorate. 

    The cell stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "according to the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and in revenge for our martyrs in the recent terrorist operation in Kirkuk and all operations sectors, and with planning, supervision and follow-up from the targeting cell, the Joint Operations Command continues to develop plans aimed at chasing the remaining terrorists." ISIS terrorist gang members.

    The SMC also added, " Iraqi  F_16  planes were able to kill a terrorist detachment of ISIS terrorist elements," indicating that "the targeting operation came according to the information of the Falcons Cell in the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency, by monitoring their movements in the village of Al-Rafi'i in Al-Rashad district in Kirkuk Governorate."

    In addition to that, the SMC continued, "After the strike, and with high coordination between the Air Force and the Ground Forces, a force moved to search the targeted location and found the bodies of the terrorists, one of whom was wearing an explosive belt that was processed from the engineering effort accompanying the force along with other weapons and equipment."
