The Security Media Cell (SMC) announced on Thursday, the killing of three ISIS members in an air strikes in Anbar.
Based on intelligence information received from the Iraqi National Intelligence Service and in coordination with the targeting cell of the Joint Operations Command, The Air Force launched an air strike by Iraqi F-16 aircraft targeting a detachment of terrorist gangs in Anbar Governorate in Shuaib Al-Daye area within the sector of Al-Jazeera Operations Command, said SMC in a statement, Received By The Iraqi News Agency (INA).
SMC added “The air strike resulted in killing one of ISIS criminal members, affirming that "Iraqi F-16 aircrafts also carried out two air strikes that resulted in the killing of two members of ISIS terrorist gangs in the same place."
SMC stressed that carrying out these proactive Ops came to terminate the remnants of ISIS members and not to give them a chance to find safe havens.
