The Palestinian Ambassador to Iraq, Ahmed Akl, confirmed that the Iraqi Media Network Museum is a successful experience to preserve the Iraqi cultural and media heritage.
Akl told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), on Thursday, during a visit to the Museum of the Iraqi Media Network, that "the efforts made in accomplishing such an establishment are great and important efforts that contributed to recording the ancient Iraqi media and cultural history."
He added, "The museum contributed significantly to maintaining the material development of the media such as cameras and television devices, as well as preserving the media names that had a great and active role in Iraqi culture."
In another context, Akl indicated that "the Palestinian Minister of Technology will visit Iraq to attend the celebration of the founding anniversary of the Iraqi press, pointing to the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding in the media fields with Iraq."
