PM Highlights at the 32nd session of the Arab Summit held in Jeddah

We support and welcome the return of Syria to its rightful place, as it is a crucial step towards restoring regional stability.
Joint Arab action is crucial in containing differences and fostering unity.

We have a responsibility to prevent Sudan from falling into internal strife and conflict. We strongly support initiatives aimed at ending the fighting and promoting peace in the country.

 We are hopeful that the ongoing efforts to achieve stability in Libya, our brotherly nation, will yield positive results.

 We are optimistic about the ongoing efforts to attain peace in Yemen, our brotherly nation. Additionally, we reaffirm our solidarity with our brothers in Lebanon, aiming to support them in overcoming their political and economic challenges.

 Iraq maintains a steadfast and principled stance concerning the Palestinian people's rightful claim to land, sovereignty, and the establishment of an independent state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

 We welcome the agreement between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran, which is a significant and constructive step. Iraq has actively supported and worked towards achieving this agreement, capitalizing on the good intentions of the two neighboring countries. This agreement serves the ultimate goal of promoting regional stability and prosperity.
 
 Arab solidarity fosters a deeper sense of unity among our neighboring Arab nations. It is not a form of isolation, but rather a demonstration of increased openness towards our neighbors. Both collectively and individually. 

 We call on the Arab League to enhance its strategies in building an economic bloc, aimed at bolstering our economies and optimizing the utilization of our diverse resources. By doing so, we can foster economic strength and prosperity in the region.
 
 Numerous countries have achieved success in building economic blocs, even without having shared common elements among their members. Therefore, it is essential for us to thoroughly explore all avenues of economic interdependence and integration between our Arab nations. 

  Iraq is taking the initiative to host several conferences that will serve as crucial foundation for fostering regional cooperation. Notably, the upcoming "Baghdad 2023" conference will play a pivotal role in promoting economic integration and regional stability.

 The capital Baghdad is preparing to host the Development Road Project Conference, a highly promising endeavor that aims to strengthen the bonds and inclusive interests of our people.

 Addressing the challenges of climate change and water scarcity necessitates collective action in accordance with international laws and norms. It is imperative that we collaborate closely to identify and implement comprehensive solutions that effectively mitigate the adverse impacts of these issues. 

 The challenge of drugs, along with its efforts that undermine our cultural values, calls for a resolute and unified stance. It is crucial that we stand together in solidarity and cooperation to effectively combat this issue.
The Iraqi people bravely faced a terrorist attack that not only targeted Iraq but also posed a threat to the entire region and the world. Through immense sacrifices, we achieved a hard-fought victory that motivates us to forge ahead in the task of rebuilding our nation.

 I extend a cordial invitation to all esteemed Majesties, Excellencies, and Highnesses to convene the Arab Summit in Baghdad in the year 2025. The city of Baghdad eagerly awaits the honor of hosting our Arab brothers, offering a warm and conducive atmosphere for meaningful discussions and productive collaboration at the heart of Mesopotamia.
