President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid on Friday, laid a wreath at the tomb of the late President Jalal Talabani.

The media office of the Presidency of the Republic stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that " President Rashid, accompanied by First Lady Shanaz Ibrahim Ahmed, visited the tomb of the late former President of the Republic, Jalal Talabani, accompanied by Minister of Immigration and Displacement Evan Faeq Yaqoub, a number of dignitaries and officials, and a gathering of academics and writers. "

President Rashid alongside the attendees recited Al-Fatiha in memory of the late President.
