Oil minister opens water pumping station for oil wells in Majnoon field

Oil Minister Haiyan Abdul Ghani  opened on Friday a water pumping station for oil wells in the Majnoon field.

The reporter of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said that "the project is one of the important projects to maintain oil pressures in the field's wells to maintain the current level of production," pointing out that "groundwater is very important to compensate for the quantities extracted from oil and gas associated with crude oil in this field."
