And the President of the Republic delivered a speech in which he said:

In the name of God, the Compassionate,
Mr. Masoud Barzani, the respected President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party . Ladies and gentlemen, distinguished audience

    Dear brothers and sisters..
The history of our nation is full of immortal glories. Over the decades of our national struggle, greats, influencers, and leaders appeared in the field of struggle. Thanks to these heroes, the path of national and national struggle continued to achieve the legitimate rights of the Kurdish people.

Like any living nation, we are proud of the great leaders who dedicated their lives to their nation in the stages of national jihad, and we must preserve the influence of these great leaders in a bright light, and our generations must know now and in the future about their struggles.

    Ladies and gentlemen,
we have faced great challenges in our country and the region in general, and our region and Iraq have witnessed several wars that caused political instability and deterioration in relations, but we are currently living in a sound environment and we have reached this new stage of understandings between the federal government and the Kurdistan Region, as we seek to benefit from this stage In order to achieve more rapprochement and peaceful and fraternal dialogue to rebuild our country.

The time has come for all Iraqi components to put aside their political conflicts and create a sound and stable political and economic environment for today's and future generations by devoting the country's wealth to developing investment and strategic projects in all areas of life, rehabilitating the infrastructure and achieving the aspirations of all our people with all its components.

We have no doubt that there is a good intention on the part of the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government to promote national dialogue, resolve outstanding issues, resolve political issues, and work on formulating a new political program that guarantees all the constitutional rights of the Kurds and for the Kurdistan Region to become a strong factor in the present and future of Iraq.
