National Security Adviser Qassim Al-Araji discussed on Wednesday, cooperation between Iraq and Germany with a member of the Security and Defense Committee in the German parliament, Thomas Roy Kamp.
The media office of the National Security Adviser stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Al-Araji received in his office today, a member of the Security and Defense Committee in the German Parliament, Thomas Roy Camp, and witnessed the meeting, reviewing the frameworks of cooperation and friendship between Iraq and Germany, and ways to develop them, including It serves the common interests of the two countries, and enhances partnership in the field of combating terrorism and exchanging information ."
Al-Araji assured the German MP, according to the statement, that "Iraq maintains balanced relations with everyone, and appreciates the role of the countries that supported Iraq in confronting terrorism," stressing "the importance of the international community's cooperation in resolving international crises, through diplomatic means and adopting the principle of dialogue."
