FIIA: Blackmailer arrested in Baghdad

The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency FIIA announced on Friday the arrest of an electronic blackmailer in Baghdad.

A statement by FIIA received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "through its tasks of following up social media users from electronic blackmailers and exploiters of unarmed citizens, and after receiving a report from one of the citizens, who was blackmailed by one of the criminal elements. Immediately, a specialized working team of heroes of FIIA was formed and arrested the blackmailer.

The statement pointed out that "his statements were recorded judicially by confessing and the necessary legal measures were taken against him."
