PM confirms government's openness to expanding prospects cooperation between Iraq and Ukraine

    Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' Al-Sudani confirmed today, Monday, the government's openness to expanding the prospects of cooperation between Iraq and Ukraine.
     
     
    The media office of the Prime Minister stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that, "Today, Monday, Al-Sudani received Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Ivanovich Kuleba and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, and means to develop it and enhance trade and economic exchange."
    Al-Sudani confirmed, according to the statement, "the government's openness to expanding the prospects of cooperation between the two countries," referring to "Iraq's principled position in rejecting wars and armed conflicts, and its adoption of the call for dialogue as a basis for resolving international and regional problems and disputes."
    For his part, the Ukrainian minister expressed his country's desire to activate the joint committees between the two countries and support bilateral cooperation, and his government's appreciation of Iraq's regional and international status, and its prominent pivotal role in supporting international stability efforts and peace initiatives.
