Industry Minister and Egyptian Ambassador are discussing the file of industrial cities projects

    The Minister of Industry and Minerals, Khalid Battal Al-Najm, and the Egyptian Ambassador to Iraq, Walid Muhammad Ismail, discussed today, Tuesday, means of future cooperation between the two countries in the field of establishing and developing industrial cities.
     
     
    The ministry stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “Al-Najm met Ismail at the ministry's headquarters today, to discuss frameworks for cooperation and future work between Iraq and Egypt in a number of industrial fields, especially the establishment and development of industrial cities projects."
      "The minister listened during the meeting to the desire of the Egyptian side to work jointly with Iraq in the field of industrial cities projects, and reviewed the reality of industrial cities in Iraq and the stages of achievement completed in a number of these cities."
    Al-Najm indicated, according to the statement, that "the ministry's trend and vision is in real and serious partnership with the private sector to establish new industrial factories and projects with modern technology, and readiness to provide possible facilities for cooperation with all countries, including Egypt in this aspect."
    "At the same time, the Ministry welcomes cooperation with the Egyptian side to establish a general or specialized industrial city in light of the bilateral relations and fraternal ties between the two countries and their two brotherly peoples." Al-Najm said.
    In turn, the Egyptian ambassador confirmed his country's serious desire to work in Iraq and open prospects for cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Minerals in the field of industrial cities and the establishment of promising industrial projects that serve the industry and interest of both countries.
