The President of the Republic congratulates the selection of the Kuwaiti Prime Minister

President Abdel Latif Jamal Rashid congratulated today, Tuesday, the selection of Kuwaiti Prime Minister Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
 
The Presidency of the Republic said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, made a telephone conversation today with the Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah."
 
During the phone call, the President expressed his congratulations to the Kuwaiti Prime Minister on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan and his assumption of the new position, wishing the "brotherly Kuwaiti people continued progress and prosperity."
 
In turn, Al-Sabah expressed his thanks and appreciation to the President of the Republic, wishing "the Iraqi people more stability and prosperity."
