Parliament visits to Sulaymaniyah to find out about the incident targeting SIA airport

Security and Defense Committee headed by MPs Abbas Al-Zamili visited Sulaymaniyah Governorate, commissioned by the Presidency of the Parliament, to find out about the incident targeting Sulaymaniyah International Airport - SIA.

"The parliamentary delegation was received by Representative Ha Reem Kamal, a member of the Security and Defense Committee and head of the Kurdistan Alliance bloc, as the committee conducted a field tour of the targeting site to look closely and know the details of the incident," stated the committee in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

He added, "The committee visited the office of the Sulaymaniyah governorate and met with the governor, Haval Abu Bakr, in the presence of the leaders of the security and intelligence services in the governorate, to discuss the repercussions of targeting Sulaymaniyah airport."
