Al-Sudani Meets with the Secretary-General of the International Islamic Fiqh

 Academy‏Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani, received the Secretary-General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Koutoub Moustapha Sano. ‏During the meeting, they reviewed the overall social and political conditions of the Arab and Islamic worlds, the most prominent challenges facing moderate Islamic discourse, and the endeavors that call for peace and rapprochement. 

‏ The media office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): The Prime Minister highlighted Iraqis' outstanding stories of unity, synergy, and standing together in the face of takfir and offered martyrs to defend the free world and eliminate the threat of terrorism.

 ‏Al-sudani stressed that what the Iraqis have achieved is the result of their diversity. They turned it into a source of strength, peace, and brotherhood. He highlighted the importance of the role of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy in promoting the discourse of Islamic unity, moderation, and peaceful coexistence. 

‏For his part, Koutoub Moustapha Sano thanked the Iraqi government and people and commended the courageous Iraqi humanitarian stance in its war on global terrorism and the significant and well-known role of the Iraqi people of all components in this honorable confrontation.
