National Intelligence Council affirmed on Sunday, the continuation of pursuing terrorist groups.
The media office of the National Security Adviser stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that the National Security Adviser, Qassim Al-Araji, chaired today a meeting of the National Intelligence Council, in the presence of members of the intelligence community and intelligence leaders."
The statement added, "The council discussed the issues on its agenda, and took the necessary decisions and recommendations in this regard, and stressed the importance of continuing to pursue terrorist groups, , as well as following up the sources of financing terrorism (human, financial and media)."
It continued, "The council discussed the plans and tasks for the security and intelligence agencies, in order to evaluate and update them, in line with the requirements of achieving the highest levels of security and stability in the country."
