The head of the National Wisdom Movement, Sayyid Ammar Al-Hakim, said on Sunday that the martyr Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr enriched international libraries with his knowledge products in various fields.
"We are living the anniversary of the martyrdom of the great Islamic thinker His Eminence the martyr Imam Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr and his sister Bint Al-Huda (Allah bless their souls), as it coincides with the day of the fall of the tyrant and the end of the era of a dictatorship that ruled Iraqis with iron and fire, which represents a divine will that confirms the impossibility of continuing injustice, no matter how tyrannical."
He added: "Our martyr al-Sadr was the philosopher who enriched the international, Islamic and Arab libraries with his knowledge products in various fields of jurisprudence, fundamentals, interpretation, history, philosophy, politics, economics and others to uniquely win the admiration of various orientalists."
He continued: "For the soul of our immortal martyr and his pure sister, mercy and eternity, and for our homeland elevation and progress and to proceed on the path of democracy that our people have chosen with their sacrifices until they won their freedom as a result of their bitter patience and long jihad that destabilized the pillars of tyranny and prepared the reasons for its demise."
