Ministry of Defense announced Wednesday the landing of the first military aircraft at Mosul International Airport after the liberation operations. A statement by the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the first military aircraft, type (C130), landed on the ground of Mosul International Airport after the liberation operations." The statement added, "The military plane was carrying Defense Minister Thabet Muhammad al-Abbasi, accompanied by Nineveh Governor Najm al-Jubouri, and a number of ministry leaders."
