Rashid: Akitu holiday is a celebration of splendor of human life

    The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, confirmed today, Saturday, that the celebration of our people from the Assyrian, Chaldean, and Syriac components of the Akitu holiday is a celebration of the nobility, love, and splendor of human life. 

    The President of the Republic said in a tweet, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The celebration of our people from the Assyrian, Chaldean, and Syriac components of the Akitu holiday is a celebration of the nobility, love, and splendor of human life.".
