The media office of the Prime Minister said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that The Prime Minister, Mr. Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani, met today, in the city of Erbil, the head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Mr. Masoud Barzani, during his visit to the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, which includes the cities of Erbil and Sulaymaniyah.
Mr. Barzani held a luncheon in honor of the visit of the Prime Minister, which was attended by several Kurdish officials and leaders, as well as heads of political parties and representatives of the components.
The Prime Minister confirmed the government's keenness to communicate with all political forces and to reach more agreements, which will be reflected in the general performance level of the government in providing services to citizens.
For his part, Mr. Masoud Barzani expressed his happiness for the government's reform efforts, stating his support for the government program, which includes sections that can provide an opportunity for advancing Iraq's economic and development reality.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by a government delegation that included the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Interior, the Minister of Planning, the Minister of Migration and Displaced, the Head of the Border Crossings Authority, the Deputy Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, the Deputy of the National Security Council, and several advisors.
