Al-Araji: The current government is developing relations in all fields

    The National Security Adviser Qassem Al-Araji affirmed that the current government is pursuing a policy of openness to countries and developing relations in all fields.

    The media office of the National Security Adviser said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, received in his office today, the President of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice, the Moroccan Minister of Justice, Abd al-Latif Wehbe, and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of the Iraqi Minister of Justice, Khaled Shawani, and the Senior Undersecretary of the Ministry, Ziyad Al-Tamimi.

    He added, "During the meeting, they discussed prospects for cooperation between Iraq and the Kingdom of Morocco, and strengthening the bonds of partnership and brotherhood between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples, in addition to reviewing the most prominent issues and challenges regionally and internationally."

    The Moroccan Minister of Justice praised "the strategic strength that Iraq possesses and an active role in the region," noting that "Morocco, king and government, looks forward to continuing and increasing cooperation with Iraq in all fields, especially security cooperation and information exchange."

    For his part, Al-Araji stressed that " Al-Sudani's government following a policy of openness to countries, communication and development of relations in all fields, including the development and strengthening of relations with the Kingdom of Morocco, and cooperation between the Iraqi Ministry of Justice, the National Security Adviser and the Moroccan Ministry of Justice, in ending the file of prisoners in a manner consistent with The laws of the two countries and the study of humanitarian cases.
