The President of Republic, Abdullatif Jamal Rashid, left on Wednesday, the country for Azerbaijan.
A statement by the Presidency of the Republic, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "The President of the Republic, Abdullatif Jamal Rashid, left the capital, Baghdad, heading to the Republic of Azerbaijan."
The statement added, "The president will participate in the meeting of the contact group at the summit level of the Non-Aligned Movement for recovery after the Corona pandemic, which will be held in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, from March 2-3, 2023."
The statement continued, "Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein and Health Minister Saleh Mahdi al-Hasnawi accompanied the president."
