General Secretariat of the Cabinet revealed on Monday, that the Iraqi government emphasizes the importance of paying attention to the housing sector within the ministerial program, indicating that there is a project to distribute 500,000 residential plots to the poor and middle segments.
"There is a tendency by the Iraqi government and an assertion by the Prime Minister on the importance of paying attention to the housing sector within the ministerial program," said the spokesman for the General Secretariat of the Cabinet, Haider Majeed, to the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
He stressed that "there is a project to distribute 500,000 plots of land for housing to the poor and middle classes."
"There is also a high-level coordination with the National Investment Commission. The commission's headquarters witnessed a visit by the Prime Minister, where he emphasized the housing sector and residential complexes as the focus of the Iraqi government's attention and among its priorities," he included.
