PM meets with several members of the Iraqi council of representatives from Maysan governorate

Prime Minister Mr. Mohammed S. Al-Sudani received several Members of the Iraqi Council of Representatives from the Maysan Governorate today.
 
The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that the meeting focused on discussing the progress of providing services to Iraqi citizens in Maysan Governorate, ways to enhance integration between the legislative and executive authorities, the importance of setting priorities in the implementation of public service projects according to actual needs, and studies that take into account the urgent needs of citizens.
 
During the meeting, the Prime Minister stressed the need to move forward with the priorities set by the government program and the government's efforts to include Maysan in investment plans and projects and to support projects that provide more job opportunities for the people of the Governorate, as well as government efforts aimed at addressing water scarcity through several projects.
 
Al-Sudani was briefed on the major demands and needs of the citizens in Maysan. He directed his team to respond to meet their demands and to support the public service agencies.
