Arab media and journalists praised, on the sidelines of the Saudi Media Forum, which was held in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, the role of Iraq and the cooperation and exchange of experiences it offers in the region, while they mentioned the positions of the Iraqis during the hosting of the 25th Gulf Championship in Basra.
The presenter of the Sada Al-Malab program, the journalist Mustafa Agha, tells the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Iraq must return to its Arab surroundings, in which it was influential in terms of media, culture, poetry, literature and cinema," pointing out that "the presence of Iraqis in the Saudi Media Forum is a great addition to the forum and to Iraqi media who needs to be informed of the global development, especially since it is one of the most countries in the world that has radio and television channels."
Al-Agha added, "Iraq, in the 25th Gulf Championship, presented a very wonderful image to the world as a people and as a lover, and presented the generosity and morals of the Iraqis," stressing "the need for the Iraqi media to have a forum like the Saudi forum that unifies efforts and energies."
He pointed out that "there are great potentials today, as we have the MBC Iraq channel, one of the successful channels present in Iraq with an Iraqi effort, Iraqi programs, as well as series, and most of those working in the channel are Iraqis."
For his part, the director of public relations at the Saudi Press Agency, Khaled Mata’en, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “the Saudi Press Agency is considered the first source in the Kingdom, as are international, Arab and regional news agencies."

The source of the agency's strength is that it is the only source of news with high credibility and great impact," stressing "the keenness of the agency's employees to be present in a large forum within the Saudi media system."
He pointed out that "without exchanging experiences, capabilities, and news cooperation between all news agencies, this will lead to imbalance, and this gives strength to all news agencies to cooperate and unite under one umbrella," pointing out that "(INA) is an Arab and international agency, so news exchange with it is very important and develops these relations are on the public and political level."
In turn, the editor-in-chief of Okaz newspaper, Jamil Al-Dhiabi, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "such forums take place in which meetings lead to solutions to some of the challenges facing media work, as well as the exchange of experiences, especially with the presence of active influencers who can benefit from them," pointing out He pointed out that "the process of cooperation and the signing of agreements and partnerships can take place on the sidelines of this forum."
Al-Dhiabi added: “Our presence in this media work is an addition to us and our media work, and most importantly of all, we have a set of obstacles, difficulties and challenges facing our media work, whether traditional, classic or new media work, so when these minds, experiences and influencers meet at work It will lead to positive results for the benefit of media work and for the benefit of countries and peoples."
He pointed out that "the Saudi-Iraqi relationship rises to results that would really have a complementary Saudi-Iraqi action, and this is what Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman aspires to, as well as the Iraqi government, and we saw exchange visits between the two countries as well as support when the Gulf championship became in Basra how was the interaction from before the Saudis."
He continued, "The Saudis and the Iraqis are not strangers to each other, as they are neighbors and brothers, so the relationship between the two governments, as well as between the two peoples, rises to a height that can be described today as excellent."
