The General Secretariat of the Cabinet announced on Sunday sending two planes loaded with humanitarian aid to the Syrian city of Aleppo.
The spokesman for the General Secretariat of the Cabinet, Haider Majeed, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "a plane will take off shortly, in addition to another plane this evening to the city of Aleppo, carrying tons of various foodstuffs."
He added, "This initiative comes within a series of airbridge directed by Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani."
