Al-Sudani orders to continue operating airbridge for sending humanitarian aid to Syria and Turkey

Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani ordered Thursday the continuation of the airbridge to transport humanitarian aid to Syria and Turkey.

The media office of the Prime Minister stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that, "Under the direction of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' Al-Sudani, the airbridge continues to transport relief materials, humanitarian and medical aid, emergency needs, and civil defense teams, to the earthquake victims in both Syria and Turkey."

It added, "This came as an affirmation of the solidarity of the Iraqi people and government with the Syrian and Turkish peoples, and as a contribution to mitigating the effects of the humanitarian catastrophe."
