The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency FIIA announced Sunday the arrest of 5 terrorists in a qualitative operation in Kirkuk province.
FIIA said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the detachments of the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency continue their efforts to follow up and pursue terrorists, and according to intelligence information and the results of the investigation with the arrested terrorists, and arrest warrants issued by the judiciary; the efforts resulted in the arrest of 5 terrorists in different areas of Kirkuk province, one of whom worked in the so-called Diwan al-Hisba and the Military Diwan of the terrorist Daesh."
"Through the investigation, it was found that one of them provided support to the terrorists by providing them with food and clothing, reconnaissance of areas and providing them with information," it said.
"The necessary legal measures have been taken against those arrested," it said.
